Kudos to the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials' (COMTO) Chicago chapter for receiving a nod in the organization's quarterly national newsletter, Accelerate. In March, the Chicago chapter hosted a mentoring event in celebration of Women's History Month at the RTA and invited Chicago Public School students. The event featured a distinguished panel of women, including RTA staff, who discussed their careers and how they continue to succeed in a predominately male-dominated field.
We also want to congratulate Eunice Escobar who was recently re-elected as COMTO's Chicago Chapter President and on receiving her Master's in Public Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Eunice serves as the agency's Asset Management Oversight Program Manager.
