CMAP is seeking your input on bicycle usage in northeastern Illinois through their survey. Your input will help develop an analysis tool that will better determine the relative benefits of implementing different types of bicycle improvements. CMAP has been championing the cause for a multi-modal region that will also allow for a good walking and bicycling environment. Working with its partners to improve conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists throughout the region, CMAP is striving to make travel by foot and bicycle safer and the region better accessible for people with disabilities. CMAP has been instrumental in working with agencies like the RTA and other government groups to build vibrant, walkable business districts, as well as encourage subdivision design that provides connectivity between jobs, housing, schools, and parks. Learn more about CMAP's Bicycle and Pedestrian program that's dedicated to helping make safe, accessible, and well-designed bicycle and pedestrian networks a reality in communities across the region.
