Mark your calendars! Sunday and Monday are big days for new CTA service that will directly benefit transit riders.
On Sunday, December 20, CTA bus service on Loop Link – a major modernization of the downtown transportation network – will begin, with the opening of the red CTA bus lanes and raised boarding platforms on Madison and Washington Streets. In addition, all general traffic lanes will be open for cars on those two major downtown streets. Read More.
On Monday, December 21, the new Ashland and Western Express route service will begin, providing customers a faster service alternative to local bus service on two of Chicago’s busiest streets. Read More.
