Public Input Sought for 2016 Budget Hearings

The RTA is looking for your input! We recently held joint public hearings with Metra about the 2016 proposed regional transportation budgets.  If you had the opportunity to attend one of our eight public hearings, you may have learned about the plans for the 2016 regional transit budget. The RTA reviews each of the Service Boards two-year financial plan and five-year capital programs.  The Service Boards establish service levels, set fares, operate service and maintain the capital infrastructure of our transit system. Feel free to review the 2016 Proposed Budgets and leave your input at Communications@RTAChicago.org.

If you missed any of the joint hearings, the RTA will host another public budget hearing on Thursday, December 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the RTA Headquarters, 175 W. Jackson Blvd., 16th Floor, Chicago. Please remember that all of our meeting sites are ADA accessible.
