RTA Opens Public Comment Period for Preliminary JARC/New Freedom and Community Planning Programs of Projects

The RTA released a Call for Projects for the JARC/New Freedom and Community Planning funding programs in May, conducted three Open Houses, and received applications in August. The preliminary programs of projects are the result of extensive consultation with the CTA, Metra, Pace, CMAP, and IDOT. The public comment period runs from October 1 through October 26.
