To complement transit operations of the CTA, Metra, and Pace, the RTA provides a number of services in the following three categories:
Accessible Transit Programs. The RTA operates programs to assist riders with disabilities and older adults in obtaining the resources needed to travel independently throughout the RTA’s six-county region. The Accessible Transit Programs section includes details about how to get certified for ADA paratransit and how to get FREE help from the Mobility Management Program, which educates customers on their transit options.
Discounted Fare Programs. The RTA, CTA, Metra and Pace offer various programs to help reduce the cost of transit expenses for eligible seniors, persons with disabilities, Medicare card holders, and military personnel. Visit our Discounted Fare Programs section to learn about eligibility requirements.
Transit Benefit Program. At MyTransitBenefit.com, the RTA allows riders to pay their transit fares with pre-tax dollars. Learn more about how employers and employees can take advantage of these significant savings.
